May Update

Following the latest government guidance, The Shepherd & Shepherdess are pleased to announce that we will be welcoming customers back into our indoor dining area from Monday 17th May 2021.

While we cannot wait to welcome you back into our restaurant, we must follow the existing government guidance as below:

  • Masks must be worn on entry and exit.

  • No pushchairs or highchairs permitted so that we can ensure social distancing between tables.

  • Track and Trace must be taken for anyone over 16 years old.

  • 2 households up to the maximum of 8 people, or rule of 6 for multiple households per table.

  • The play area is currently closed for maintenance, and we unfortunately no longer allow horses in our car park due to safety.

  • Everything remains table service, so please remain seated at all times and let us do the work!

But, after that's all said, from every member of staff and the management we thank you and look forward to seeing you all again soon!

Carling Community Awards

The Shepherd and Shepherdess are proud to announce, that after being nominated by area manager Stuart Ireland to the Carling Community Awards we have been awarded a Defibrillator on site.

This is following an incident where our staff heroically provided first aid assistance to a member of the public. As management, we are very proud of all of our staff, and well done to them all on such a fantastic achievement. We would also like to send our thanks to the St John’s Ambulance for providing Defibrillator Training.
