As a community pub, we realise the role we have in our local area and are incredibly grateful for the support we have received from those supporting local businesses like ourselves over the past few challenging months. These are truly extraordinary times and both the management and staff at the Shepherd & Shepherdess wish all of our customers, past, present and future safety and happiness as we begin to return to normality.

We look forward to welcoming you all back soon.

Carling Community Awards

The Shepherd and Shepherdess are proud to announce, that after being nominated by area manager Stuart Ireland to the Carling Community Awards we have been awarded a Defibrillator on site.

This is following an incident where our staff heroically provided first aid assistance to a member of the public. As management, we are very proud of all of our staff, and well done to them all on such a fantastic achievement. We would also like to send our thanks to the St John’s Ambulance for providing Defibrillator Training.
